TERMS OF SERVICE
AGE Design & Build
1. Scope of Service
The HVAC Buildability Assessment is a high-level technical review of the provided project drawings. The purpose is to identify constructability risks, coordination conflicts, and potential impacts on cost and schedule.
This service does not include detailed design, engineering, coordination, or redesign of HVAC systems.
2. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing complete and accurate documentation, including HVAC/mechanical drawings and architectural plans.
Work will only begin once all required documents have been submitted. Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the results.
3. Deliverables
The service includes:
- A structured HVAC risk summary (PDF)
- Annotated comments on selected drawings
- High-level recommendations for next steps
No construction documents, shop drawings, or engineering deliverables are included.
4. Turnaround Time
The assessment will be completed within a reasonable timeframe after receipt of complete documentation. Typical turnaround is communicated separately and may vary depending on project complexity.
5. Fees and Payment
All services are paid upfront.
Invoices are issued after purchase for documentation purposes.
Fees are non-refundable once work has started. If the client fails to provide required documentation, the service cannot be performed.
6. Limitation of Liability
This service is provided as a professional assessment based on available information.
AGE Design & Build is not responsible for construction outcomes, design errors by third parties, or decisions made based on this assessment.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing this service, the client agrees to these Terms of Service.
